Kobi Braendli has 25 years experience in the geophysical survey market, predominantly the oil&gas sector in the Far East. Before joining EGS as Marketing Manager based in Singapore, Kobi’s career included positions as field geophysicist, party chief, operations geophysicist, project manager, geophysical and marketing manager with Geodetic&Construction Pte. Ltd./Fugro Geodetic Pte. Ltd. (1983-1995 in Singapore), Fugro Geoteam (1996-1997 in Aberdeen, UK), Racal Survey Pte. Ltd./Thales Geosoultions Pte. Ltd. (1998 – 2002 in Singapore) and Fugro Survey Pte. Ltd. (2003-2005 in Singapore).

Kobi’s experience in and knowledge of the local Oil&Gas market and in particular drilling site hazard surveys and marine seismic data acquisition and interpretation helps EGS to widen their business activities from their main telecommunication and local hydrographic survey related core business into the Oil&Gas patch.

Kobi Braendli is a Swiss National and holds a Masters Degree (Diploma) in Earth Sciences (Geophysics) from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (SFIT), Zurich, Switzerland. Kobi is an active member of SEG, EAEG and SEAPEX.
