Dr. Chen Qin Fang, Margie
Senior Geophysicist and Manager of Geophysics Division - EGS (Asia) Ltd.

Margie has more than 10 years experience on many marine and near-surface investigations and studies for governments, consulting companies and oil companies. Projects have involved in marine environmental study, current and water column study, shallow sub-bottom investigation, cable route survey, ferrous pipeline quality assessment, slope stability investigation, cavity and fault zone investigation, groundwater pollution and leaching survey, pavement quality survey, and power cable positioning. She is familiar with numerous marine and land investigation systems and pertinent data analysis techniques.

As the Manager of Geophysics Division, she is responsible for the daily management of the Division, and the development of geophysical techniques and quality control of the survey services offered.

Margie holds a PhD in Geophysics from the University of Hong Kong. Besides her office duty, she acts an active role in local geology community. She is currently the President of Geological Society of Hong Kong.
