Matthew W.C. Lai
CFO - EGS Group

Based in Hong Kong, Matthew is a highly knowledgeable geoscientist with a detailed understanding of geophysical investigation techniques such as sub-bottom profiling, gravity measurements, side scan sonar and bathymetric investigations. With twenty years experience of carrying out geophysical investigations in Hong Kong waters he is one of EGS's experts on the estuarine geology in and around Hong Kong, which finds an application in survey work for infrastructure development projects in and around Hong Kong.

In addition to being one of EGS's senior geophysicists, Matthew also takes a strong interest in the day to day financial management of the company in Hong Kong. Matthew is the Technical Adviser of our joint venture company Hydrography and Geophysics Siam Co Ltd (HGS) in Thailand.

Matthew holds a Diploma of Economics from the Baptist Collage, Hong Kong.
