PT EGS Indonesia was awarded a contract for a high order acoustic (multibeam & sidescan sonar) survey of BP West Java's entire pipeline asset database in the Offshore NW Java PSC.
The survey essentially covered approx 390 pipelines (~1900 pipeline km) and 14 flow centre sites and was carried out using the MV Northern Light equipped with Simrad EM3002 swathe bathymetry and Edgetech FS4200 digital high resolution sidescan sonar.
BP West Java ONWJ Pipeline Inspection
     
 
The system will link Collaroy beach in Australia to Madang in PNG and Tata Piti in Guam. PPC-1 is the first “new” cable to land in PNG since the 1960’s.
EGS (Asia) Ltd was contracted by Tyco Telecommunications to undertake a detailed Cable Route Study, Cable Route Survey and Burial Assessment Survey of the 6,900km long system.

EGS (Asia) Ltd was appointed to supply Geophysical and Survey support services to Geoconsult of Norway for the PLUTO Deep Water AUV Geophysical Survey of water depths between 200 and 1200m. The Pluto Field is situated approximately185km North West of Dampier, Western Australia. Survey operations were undertaken on the vessel SV Geosea and utilized a Geoconsult AUV with multibeam, chirp and SSS capabilities.The EGS in-house software package C-View was used for Seabed Data Management and generation of SSS Mosaics.
PLUTO Deepwater AUV Geophysical Survey
     
 
SEACOM provides high capacity bandwidth linking business and communities in Southern and East Africa, Europe and South Asia. EGS (Asia) Ltd was contracted by Tyco Telecommunications to undertake a Cable Route Study, Cable Route Survey and Burial Assessment Survey for the segment between Suez and Djibouti.

As part of a major infrastructure development which also includes a new port and pipeline at the Dung Quat Refinery, Vietnam, PTSC commissioned EGS (Vietnam)Ltd to undertake a fully integrated Geophysical Survey of the site.
The comprehensive investigation included a pipeline route survey, two high resolution SSS, Bathymetric and Boomer site surveys, Magnetometer survey and Sediment Sampling.

Ghana Ports: Tema and Takoradi
   
 
The Wave Hub is a proposed electrical connection point located approximately 20km offshore of the Cornish coast, north of St Ives. The site is to be connected to the onshore electricity grid and will greatly simplify the legal consents process leading to reduced risk for developers of pre-commercial wave machine arrays.
EGS (International) Ltd were contracted by Halcrow Group for the South West Development Agency to carry out the primary bathymetric and geophysical survey for the Wave Hub site and the cable route linking the site to the shore.
