Bechtel International Inc. commissioned EGS (Asia) Ltd to undertake the geophysical and geotechnical survey work for a 42” gas pipeline linking the southern end of the proposed Third Transmission Pipeline Project (TTPP) in block B17 of the JDA (near the proposed Muda platforms) with the Cakerawala R platform CKR in Block A18 of the JDA, near the Thai/Malaysian border. The survey for the 50km long pipeline also included a detailed site survey centered on the CKR platform.
