Both side scan sonar and sub bottom profiling data is captured digitally with a C-View seismic acquisition, processing and charting system. This PC-based system allows a realtime QC and near-realtime processing of data, providing draft charts often within 24 hours of data capture.

EGS operates a number of C-View geophysical data acquisition and processing systems on all inshore and offshore geophysical surveys. Digital data acquisition provides an optimum resolution data quality that can be interpreted in near real-time cutting down drastically on "standby" time.

The C-View Tools module enables onboard processing of data into an Autocad chart form that drastically reduces CAD and interpretation time.

Data visualisation is provided through the C-View Chart mosaicing facility.

C-View is an innovative tool that helps drastically increase seismic data resolution and QC whilst reducing the rigors of offshore surveying.
