EGS International, Caribbean Survey accepted by UKHO

EGSi’s data from hydrographic surveys of sections of coastline around the Caribbean island of Anguilla has recently been accepted by the UK Hydrographic Office. The 6-week survey, which included current measurements, seabed characterisation, topographic surveys and 19 wreck investigations (using a multibeam echosounder and ROV) was performed last Autumn, with the Survey being submitted at the end of the year for validation and acceptance.

These surveys were undertaken as part of the Overseas Territories Seabed Mapping Programme, which is funded by the UK Government and managed by the UKHO.
