EGS’ Geo Resolution is being engaged to perform the geophysical and geotechnical investigation along the proposed cable route connecting Fiji and Caledonia.
The OPT is continuing its project to deploy a second submarine cable, between New Caledonia and Fiji (via Gondwana 2) including domestic links between Lifou, Maré, Île des Pins, Yaté, Mont-Dore , Ouémo and Nouville (via Picot 2).
